Hi-
I’m trying to find a version of lint that will run on QNX4. I’ve
tried installing splint, but without success. I’ve also searched the
QSSL website (and several others) but haven’t found anything
lint-like. Does anyone have any suggestions?
BTW, I need lint because I have a bug that crashes my Photon
application under normal circumstances, but the bug magically disappears
when I compile the suspect file with “-g”. Other experiments suggest
the stack is getting hosed… finding this sort of thing can be a
bear…
TIA,
–

I use flexelint. The version available on QNX4 is old (7 is beleive) while
the version available on
Windows is 8 (or 9) so I use that instead. If your budget allows it you can
get the source of the lastest version and compile it on QNX4.
None of these tools a free though, but they are really worth the money.
TIA,

Thanks for the suggestion. Since FlexeLint costs $998 for a single user
license, I redoubled my efforts to get splint to compile. I now
have splint running… hopefully it will be sufficient.

It’s for the source, the windows binary is $299 I beleive.
