What does this means???
i can’t get my qnx-rtp to load because of this and then in safe mode it
tells me
it can’t open a devcon-c or something like that…
why?
ok ok…
i have this new message…
/.diskroot file for root not found on any filesystem.
What does this means? That i didn’t install QNX-rtp? I mean, i downloaded
the iso image and it burned well, i don’t know what could be.
It means it can’t find any filesystem with RTP installation on it. Which
means you either have an unsupported disk controller, or there is some
compatibility issue. If you tell us what is your hardware it would
help…

In my case it meant that I had a previously undetected error in my partition
table; I had overlapping partitions. Fortunately the Gods were smiling on me
that day. I booted to QNX and used fdisk without losing any data off the end
of the overlapped partion…
Check your partion table with something like Partition Magic - you may
not be as lucky as I was, but you may find out what the problem is, at
least!

Ok, i have this odd situation. Sometimes it boots [with the floppy ONLY]
sometimes, it doesn’t. The funny thing is that i don’t seem to have any
problems on my partitions. [Used partition magic 5.0] So, what else could
this be?
I have a SOYO slot 1 motherboard with a pentium celeron@566mhz, 192mb of
pc-100 ram, a 20gb samsung hd, winfast geforce2 gts w/32mb ddr ram,
soundblaster live! value… what else? a couple of realtek8029 chipset NIC
[wich i can’t get to work i don’t know how, i enabled both in dhcp mode,
one’s for sharing internet, the other 4 the cablemodem] And that’s pretty
much it of what i have.
