Just now I down loaded *.qpm and *.qpk files from
the Beta site of QNX.
What is this format? Is it like tar or some other utility?
If I want to extract these files what should I have?
Can anyone helps me in this regard?

…qpm is just a XML file, which contains some package info (like name,
description…) and info about ‘how to install…’ this package in system, a
copy of this file is included in .qpk (and called MANIFEST), so you don’t
need .qpm for installation of package with method described in link
