writing to a register

Hi,
I need to control a bit in a register. It’s actually used to control the
rts of a serial device. Does anyone know how to access a register if I know
the registers address?

This is not really the right place for this, but take a look
at in8() and out8() for QNX 6, and inp() outp() for QNX 4.
