The BrookTree BT8xx boards like Haupaugge seem to
be supported under Linux. The drivers use direct
reads and writes over the PCI bus to access the
onboard RAM of the video card.
One that I’ve used with xawtv is
…/2.4.9-21/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o
from RedHat. I don’t know how understandable the
code is.

www.arvoo.com has QNX RTP drivers for their Picasso cards (although this may
not be mentioned on their site – ask them).
