I’m using Matrox graphic card and frame grabber with QNX 6.1 and I have
problem with their install_genesis installation file. I installed (unzip)
their libraries and set up their environment manually but I couldn’t compile
and link their demo software in …/demo/make. I would like to find out if
anyone uses Matrox Genesis library under QNX 6.1.

To the best of my knowledge the Matrox Genesis Native Library is
designed only for QNX 4.25 and Photon 1.13 or 1.14. I would be very
surprised - and pleased - to hear that they have re-implemented
everything for 6.x…
Did you get the genesis driver task to run? That would be the first
test. Also, many of their demos require the Watcom C++ compiler.
Can you confirm with your Matrox tech support that your GNL is for and
6.x, please? If so, please let me know so I can beat on my sales/support
guy!

I talked to Matrox the other day and they confirmed that GNL is being ported
to QNX 6. So go and beat up our sales guy
