I am looking for a rough equivalent of Linux strace, Solaris truss, OS X ktrace, or something for QNX6. I have seen tantalising references to such things, but have yet to find any downloadable binary or source for such a program. Can anyone send me a pointer?

The only thing similar is the QNX system profiler. You need to go through the IDE and thus that’s only available in the PE version I beleive.
However if you are ready to deal with text Look at tracelogger and traceprinter. Look it up in the System Analysis toolkit section of the documentation.
