SiS9 Ethernet driver

We’re working on a new motherboard that uses the SiS961A bridge with
built-in SiS900 Ethernet controller, and the QNX SiS900 driver
(devn-sis9.so) that comes with 6.2.0 doesn’t seem to recognize this
particular version/revision of the chip: it reports that it can’t read
the EEprom and can’t find the MAC address. Is there a newer version of
this driver? If not, is there an effort under way to catch up with SiS
and their revisions?

We are waiting on docs from SiS for this new chipset, but don’t have
anything right now.

I got a fairly reason version of a L***x driver from SiS (version 1.08.05a
Jun 28 2002) with code that knows about Rescission 0x90 and at least
demonstrates how to find the MAC address (although I’d already figured that
out), but I’m still unable to get the driver I’m writing to run the chip. I
can talk to the registers, but the chip never access the ring descriptors in
memory. If you manage to pry any more secrets out of SiS I’d appreciate a
note.

Good Luck!
