IPv6/Spanning Tree

Hi,
Does any one know if the current (or future) versions of the tcpip
protocol module supports IPv6? Does it support Spanning Tree for routing?
Are there external modules that might support either or both? I am currently
running 6.1.

QNX 6.2 supports IPv6

Spanning Tree Protocol is primarily used for building tree hierarchy of
switches to avoid Layer 2 loops in mesh topology. Could you give us a little
more information why Spanning Tree is the choice? I guess RIP, OSPF, BGP
and others would be more convenient for IP routing. QNX 6.2 has built-in RIP
support. OSPF/BGP and others are available from 3rd party.

Hi,

I am also looking for a Spanning Tree Protocol implementation for QNX.
I need this because, I have layer a layer 2 ethernet switch on my board that
maybe connected to other switches and I need to avoid loops. RIP/OSPF won’t
help in this case since they are meant for sharing IP routing information
and not L2 ethernet topology exchange.

If my memory does not fail me, Future Soft has a commercial product
covering STP. Also there are plenty of implementations on web, for example,
