Installing ipfilter from the 3rd Party CD

I tried to install ipfilter from the 3rd party cd.

It complains that it’s missing: npm-tcpip-v6.so

I can not find this. Where should it be?

Bill - in the NC edition of 6.2.0 you can’t use ipfilter. You will need
to either use PE or SE or wait for 6.2.1 NC to be released. The bits
needed for ipfilter got left out of the stack shipped with 6.2.0 NC but
have been added back.

sounds like you are using the NC version.
Bill, I can’t believe you are still an NC user

I am unfortunately still “working” with QNX4.

I have not been able to justify any new project using QNX6.

However I just got a spanking new P-III 750 MHz w/256 MB to try playing
with QNX6. So I’ve been playing with QNX6 anew. Even with all that
horse power it is insulting how slow it is compared to QNX4.

Portability has never been an issue with us. We don’t try to port other
software and we won’t ever try to port our software to anything else. I
just can’t make an argument for switching to QNX6.
