FTP From Windows Machine

Hi

I am running QNX 6 (Phindows) on one PC and trying to connect to it from FTP
running under Windows on
another. The QNX machine “Pings” OK from the Windows machine.

I am logged in as ROOT on QNX - I have taken root out of etc/ftpusers and
given ROOT a password.
Is there any other reason why the Windows machine would say “Can’t Login” in
the FTP log window ?

Thanks

Can you ftp as root over localhost on the QNX machine:

ftp 127.1

Make sure syslogd is running and look for any ftpd entries.
