Where to begin?

Hello,

OK, I’ve finally upgraded to 6.1. However, I’m trying to find the docs
for the audio DDK. I’m sure I’ve included the audio DDK in the upgrade
process from the QNX WWW repository. On my system, the help viewer does
list the network, usb and graphics DDK. I’ve also searched in
www.qnx.com for “audio DDK” and nothing conclusive turned up.

But with

find /usr -name template

I do see some files appearing which look like DDK related files.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get started with the
audio DDK?

Thanks in advance.

regards,
rick

It also seems that under /usr/help all of the audio ddk related files
are zero length. I even de-installed and re-installed the package =>
same thing. Anything special I need to do to install the audio ddk
package?

regards,
rick

I give you the reply I got from Igor on the same topic:

The package mangler hides it. You can get the real file by descending
into /pkgs/repository/qnx/ddk/… look for ‘deva-doc-xxx’ directory,
there will be ‘bookset.html’ there - just open it in Voyager.

Sources are installed in CVS format, to extract them use ‘get-cvs-src’
script (it has usage message). There are 3 real drivers there (Solo1,
Via686 and AudioPCI) and one ‘template’.

What card are you looking to support?
