SB template?

Hello,

The DDK docs refer to the soundblaster driver as a template for ISA
based cards, but I only see some PCI based drivers and a template which
I think also assumes a PCI based driver. Any ISA template available?

Thanks in advance,

regards,
rick

PS: I find the threads between Igor and the A.S. team very informative.
I hope any resulting new information (bugs, clarifications) is fed
back to the docs and/or DDK sources.

PPS: It would also be nice to document where to find the audio DDK after
installing it from the QNX WWW repository. I had to consult the
newsgroup to find it. (Or better yet: fix the zero length files/dirs
thing in /usr/help/…)

There is SB driver in ALSA 0.5 source on QNX FTP site, but that’s
pre-io-audio stuff.

The ISA template didn’t make it out with the release. We will have to
see how we can make it available to you.

Thanks. They will be.

This is a short term problem. I believe it has already been fixed, but
not yet made its way out to the public.

That would be great! Thanks!

If I read between the lines correctly, you’re asking for my email
address? It’s: “rwlake at anp dot nl”. (Forgive the crypticness; as you
can see from my posting address I’m trying to protect my email from
spammers who haven’t discovered it yet)
