I would like to use QNX as a platform to first
1- Code a midi driver for a know parallel/serial midi interface using
hardware buffering, like midiman, motu
2- Port a midi engine from linux to QNX with RT in mind
3- Port a midi sequencer from linux/X11 to Qnx/photon
FIRST; Do you think that using QNX for midi will be tightest when recording
than linux or winblows?
I want to make the most stable and fast midi sequencer on PCs…
I’m looking to code this sequencer that would be stable; tight and
responsive as a hardware midi sequencer
