You would need something that could read the .doc file format and doing
a logical diff on the data. I doubt it will do anything usefull as it is
now since .doc files are binary memory dumps.

But you never know what magic someone else has done with software.

So you mean to say that Word itself can’t do diffs ? What exactly did M$ have those 5000 developers doing ?
