I have a dell optiplex GX260, and can not get it to print using devc-par.
It prints fine in windows, and from bios, bit hangs after one character in
QNX.
Obviously something is different in the hardware.
I was just wondering if there was a newer version of devc-par out there that
supported more modern parallel ports. From what I can tell devc-par supports
SPP mode, doesn’t even use interrupts, and polls. I would think a driver
that used EPP or ECP mode (if available) would simply work better with newer
printer ports.
So… anybody have one laying around??
Thanks,
John Eddy
