I’m starting on this port. First pass seems to find QNX 4.2x CC options.
Has anyone tried this? I expect that it’s pretty straight forward.
I’d use the port at QSSL of 5.6.0, but the package file system prevents
one from writing in /usr/lib/perl… so there seems to be no way to add
modules… I’m trying to get mod_perl stuff. The 6.1 update was a pretty
big setback in a lot of ways.
I’ll pass on any findings.

non-QSSL ports should probably go to a different directory, say /usr/local.
I decided to use /opt/X11R6 for my XFree86 port, to avoid conflicting
with QSSL’s /usr/X11R6

Yes, Dave, I’ve taken a pass at it and have submitted patches.
I believe my patches are in the latest development release 5.7.2.
(http://www.perl.com/CPAN/src/5.0/perl-5.7.2.tar.gz) I’m
not sure when they will make it to a release version.
