Hi vasa,

yes it exists and works
check out http://develeoper.qnx.com ->“R&D Corner” → ports
there you’ll find openssl0.9.6a and openssh2.9p1 for the x86 platform

Also note that is an old package and people should really use the
one in my repository: http://qnx.wox.org/repository/6.1/.

I just ported ssh 3.0.1 a few weeks ago, it compiled “out of the box” with one
very minor “gotcha” – I had to disable X11 support, there’s some
–without-X or somesuch switch on the “configure” command line. Other than
that, works like a charm…

Cheers,

does this means that it doesn’t support X-tunneling through a ssh
connection or what is the X11 spport meant for ?!

I don’t think it means any of that – I disabled X support because it
complained about not being able to find some .h file or other and because
I don’t use X. So, as a “quick” solution, disabling X allowed me to get
it running fast.

I’m sure someone who knows what they’re doing (w.r.t. X) could “fix” this
in a matter of seconds.

Cheers,

Would that be the “real” ssh or the openssh project?

I believe it’s the “real” one…
