if_ether.h: why in net?

Anyone know why the QNX version if the if_ether.h header is in
/usr/include/net?

On all the other platforms I’ve looked at (Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD) this
header is kept in the /usr/include/netinet directory.

This is not a POSIX standard header, so I’m curious as to why QNX is not
following de-facto standard practice in the placement of this header
file (or, whether my de-facto standards are not as standard as I think ).
