My name is Andrea, I’m a postgrad student, and I’m willing to participate to
the news group.
I’m currently developing, with a colleague, a distrubuted data acqusition
system. The system is formed by several modeules, each is an x86 PC/104 with
attached a small board for analog processing and ADC. Each of the boards has
also a wireless ethernet card for communication with a host responsible of
gathering and presenting the data. On each module we use QNX RTP 6.1, the
host is instead a win2000 platform.
Good to see this newsgroup is taking on a life of its own. Feel free to
use
it for anything that doesn’t fit into the other QNX.QNXRTP…categories.

Understand why I asked for a “cafe” section now? Since a “cafe”
newsgroup was not created I can speculate either my request
feel into death ear or QNX don’t want to.
If QNX don’t want to setup one up for what ever reason,
I’d like to know so that I can stop asking
FYI - I’ve also set up some new newsgroups for processor-specific
discussions (qnx.qnxrtp.powerpc,.mips,.strongarm,*.x86)…

I second the motion. QUICS used to have /etc/etc. Call it what you want
but give us a general BS conference. We want to get to know each other
better.
