Is there no photon dialer?

Hi there;

I want to run pppd on no photon environment.
First of all, I had tried pppd connection at photon with phdialer and there
were no problem.
and I have tried that with qtalk and pppd on no photon environment.

like that;

at one terminal

qtalk -b57600
atz
ok
atdt01442 #01442 is my ISP num
login : username
passwd : ****

and other terminal

pppd /dev/ser1 defaultroute +resconf require-ns noipdefault logstatus
nodetach receive-all logfd 2 +stdinsecret name username

the result is;
pppd is running, but It looks like no pppd negotiation.

ifconfig ppp0
ifconfig: SIOCGIFMETRIC ppp0: Operation not supported
ppp0: flags=8050<POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST>
inet 0.0.0.0 → 0.0.0.0 netmask 0x0

You may need to tell the otherside (ISP) to commence PPP also.
