Hi,
Compact Flash Card (CFC) is designed to work in three different modes one of which is IDE compatible
mode.
I’m working with PPC dev platform (SandPoint) where CFC sits on PCI bus via EIDE controller.
To simplify design I’d like to connect CFC in Memory Mapped Mode when all CFC registers (exactly as
IDE)
are mapped to the memory space.
Has anybody done that?
Is it possible to use standard devb-eide to access CFC in Memory Mapped Mode?
