PPPD connection

Hi,

Is it possible to make a pppd connection (to a serial port) without
“/etc/ppp/pap-secrets” file.

Yes. Just don’t enable any authtication in either end.

I use these parameters:

pppd : </dev/serX> persist nodetach maxfail 0

It forcese the process to remains im memory ether if the conection brokes
