Alright I love vim and here recently I moved all of my source code to my laptop and mount the drive to my qnx box with samba… that way I always have it with me when I travel.
However vim started locking up occasionally whenever I edit a file from my qnx box with vim when the file is in a mounted samba folder. It works perfectly fine with no problems if the file is on the physical hard drive of the qnx box though.
Any ideas?
Swap file in current directory? ( I’m not sure, it’s just hint… ) Try place the swap file in /tmp directory.
