Graphics Master Question

Step 5 of this BSP reads “Using a flash programmer, transfer the
ipl-gmaster.bin file from your host to the boot ROM on the Graphic
Master” Perhaps I’m being dense but as far as I can tell from reading
the documentaion of the Graphics Master board and looking at the one
sitting in behind me the boot ROM is just that Boot ROM. That is to say
there is no way to change save getting new ROM from ADS. I’m hoping I’m
wrong and someone can point me in the right direction as to how I should
go about getting the bootloader on to the graphics master.

Is the boot rom socketed on your board (they are on ours). If yes,
please remove the rom, burn the ipl-gmaster.bin file using a flash
programmer. Alternatively, you could use a promice (or equivalent)
in place of the boot rom.

The original gmaster boards we received did not have a functional
boot monitor program; our only course was to remove the rom and
burn it via a flash programmer.

If I’ve missed the point of your question can you please
clarify?
