Hi,
I can’t execute a binary file which is on my XP developement platform
(through a Samba client).
A “/bin/sh: ./myexe: Bad file descriptor” message is displayed when I run
the binary file ‘myexe’.
I use the Samba client command line : fs-cifs //netbios_name:ipaddr:/share
/mountpoint username password
The XP content directory is viewable, I can execute a simple script (where
executed binary files are on the target) but not a binary file which is on
the XP disk. If I copy /bin/ls in my mountpoint, the same error occurs. If I
copy ‘myexe’ in the /dev/shmem directory, it works very well.
Any suggestions ?
QNX target = “QNX localhost 6.2.0 2002/05/21-12:17:24edt x86pc x86”
Thanks,
David.
This is a known problem, supposedly fixed in the next patch release.
