Funny video

I posted a while ago stating that Photon wouldn’t work with my tnt
videocard. All it would do is go black, or just use the very minimum VGA
driver…

Well, I seem to have found the problem. I have two videocards installed
on my computer, identical TNT cards except one is on PCI and the other on
AGP. QNX doesn’t seem to like that idea…

By default, the AGP card is used, which gets me to text mode and the
minimum VGA driver. When I try to change modes, Photon decides it wants to
use the PCI card. So if I crawl under my desk, and move my monitor cable, I
can see it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Any tips on getting it to use only the AGP video? I normally use the PCI
video for text mode debugging in windows. It only has an EGA monitor on it.

You will probably need to manually edit your graphics config file.
(/etc/system/config/graphics-modes) The top line is the driver that
Photon will use. Copy the line with the desired resolution and color
depth, for the AGP card to the top of the file.
