There might be a memory leak problem in openssh.
I’m using 6.2.1B and have tried openssh-3.6.1p2 and 3.71p1.
A client regularly sending files using sftp to the server running sshd. The
heap size of the pipe process on the server side continuous to grow at 16K
steps. The memory leak finially caused the server out of memory in several
days.

Very odd. I will give it a try here and see what I find.
