Installation problems with SE and PE

I am developing s/w on an embedded x86 based board. I have been
sucessful in using both SE and PE versions of 6.2 on this system.
Anyhow, we just received another set of these boards (I noticed that
they have a later version of the BIOS). Alas, I am unable to install SE
or PE on them. I am able to boot of the Install CD and transfer the
files. I am able to successfully reboot and configure the video.
However, after login in as root and the packager comes up automatically
I am unable to install either the SE or PE package. The status column
says ‘unreleased’. Checking the package does not help as the INSTALL
button remains grayed out.

Question: what does this ‘unreleased’ mean?

Thanks,

Hanif.

All qssl packages have a date that is read by the installer. If the clock on
your hardware is before the date of the package, then the installer will
mark the packages as “Unreleased”.

Please verify that your clock is set correctly.
