Well, you had 6.2.0 drivers set before you’ve installed Momentics (developers tools). After
installing developers tools you have drivers of 6.2.1 version. You can try to mount something like
qnxbase.qfs (as far as I understand you should have two .qfs with systems drivers on CD, I still use
old 6.1 version, so I’m unaware of details, sorry) and grab the driver from that 6.2.0 driverset.
There is a good chance it will work correctly. Also, I guess the old driver is hidden somewhere in
pot belly of package file system, but I doubt you can extract/activate one individual driver by
QNX Installer (or what the hell it’s named now)
I’m surprised no one of network gurus from QSS has not jumped in yet. Situation is quite abnormal
when old driver works and new one doesn’t.
Cheers,
Eduard.
Well, I’ve decided I want the compiler now, so I’ve installed Momentics NC
6.2.1.
As previously reported the network card no longer works.
ifconfig shows the “en0” interface as active but the neither the 10 or 100
lights is lit on the dongle.
pci shows that the card is still configured with the same address (fe00h)
and interrupt (11).
