Error on swap file creation (during installation)

When installing QNX 6.2.1 on a 512MB compactflash card (IDE emulation), We
are given the option of selecting partition size. If we select “full” the
installer attempts to create a swap file (claims that it needs 256MB to
creat a a128MB swapfile) and gives the error below:
“/etc/system/sysinit: /etc/rc.d/re.setup-once[88]: sytax error: ‘if’
unmatched”
and hangs. If we choose a smaller partition size it fails on the create
claiming insufficient disk space. It then goes on and everything installs
fine (until the filesystem corrupts a while later and everything breaks).

Any help would be great, especially to do with the right settings to get QNX
on a CF card.

ARC team:

CD and installation procedure on it were developed to install QNX onto standard PC as a selfhosted
development machine. Consult of minimal hardware requirement for self hosted QNX developers PC at
web site of QSSL. Definitely it was not supposed to install QNX system into CF card.
