cannot boot from QNX Momentics NC disc

I have downloaded the current QNX Momentics NC iso, checked the
md5sum, and burned it to CD-ROM disc. When I try to boot from it, the
computer gets as far as “Press the space bar to input boot options…”
and it stops…

I have run previous version on this same computer without problems. In
fact, if I put a QNX RTP 6.2 disc in and reboot, I can install without
problem.

The computer is a dual PPro with 2 IDE hard drives (primary IDE) and 2
IDE CD-ROM drives (secondary IDE).

I am currently downloading the iso file again. After verifying md5sum,
I will re-burn and try again.

In the meantime, does anybody have any ideas why this isn’t working?

Thanks,
Marc Mandel

Have you tried hitting the space bar to input boot options? Does it
bring up a menu?

Chris,

Thanks for your reply.
No, there is no response after pressing the space bar when the
corresponding message appears.

I have downloaded a second copy, check the md5sum, reburned, and tried
to boot from that disc. No change, although since the md5sum matched
in both cases, I really didn’t expect different behavior.

ANd have you tried hitting ESC when it asks to boot the nonDMA boot image?
