I recently installed the Momentics IDE. Whenever I edit a file and try to
save it, I get the following error:
Save failed:org.eclipse.core.internals.util.UniversalUniqueIdentifier
I reinstalled QNX and the IDE, but I still get the same error. It seems
like a permissions error, but as far as I can determine, the
permissions/settings/configurations are correct. I’ve tried adding
additional users with different group IDs and user ID’s, but the result is
always the same.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure that your hostname can be looked up – add it to your /etc/hosts
file, and make sure your /etc/resolv.conf file has before any name servers
a line that says:
lookup file bind
