Editing non-workspace files with workspace editor

Platform: Momentics PE 6.2.1 running under Windows

Does anyone know how to edit (from within the IDE GUI) source files that
are not part of the Momentics workspace ?
Is there anyway to view the PC’s file system from within the IDE GUI ?

There is no way to easily do this. Eclipse insists that files be in a
project in the workspace to be able to open them. You would have to
import the files/dirs into the workspace to be able to edit the files there.
