I am occasionally seeing the following error when trying to use mkisofs:
mkisofs: error: ‘toCD/inf2cdtext.pl’ and ‘toCD/inf2cdtext.pl’ have the same
ISO9660 name ‘INF2CDTE.PL;1’
I only see one copy of this file when I do an ls or look at it from the file
system, and it doesn’t happen all the time???
What is happening?
command used is:
mkisofs -otoCD.iso -v -r toCD
I do have copies of the same files in three directories.
toCD
toCD/old
toCD/old2
but these should not be a problem … right?
It is telling me that I have two copies of the same file in the same
directory, and that should not be possible, right???
Did you port mkisofs on your own?
When I did so, I found that the qsort() function of the QNX-library
has a bug (though QSSL calls it somehow different): it calls the
compare function with two identical pointers and this messes up the
compare function ‘compare_dirs()’.
I can send you the modification, if you need it (made in
‘cdrtools-2.0’).
I thought I had the right version of cd tools.
I started with:
cdrtools-2.0.tar.gz size=1583252 date=12/25/2002 time=7:05am
… and just did a make on it.
Then I tried doing an smake on it… same results.
Is that the one with the bug?
If so, please do send me the fix, or point me to it so I can download it.

So… what you are saying is… to use cdrecord, you need: http://developers.qnx.com/Fixes/Software/index2.htm
for:
cdrecord - put in path somewhere
libcam.so.2 - copy to /lib/libcam.so.2
cam-cdrom.so - copy to /lib/dll/lcam-cdrom.so
and … a working copy of mkisofs
