How do I enable a long filename?

Traditional QNX4 filesystem only supports up to 48 characters for filenames.

From 6.2.1 and later, it additionally supports longer filenames
by adding a file named “.longfilenames” at the root of the filesystem.
Thus, to enable long filenames on the root partition, just
touch /.longfilenames
chmod 444 /.longfilenames
and reboot.

See “dinit” utility manual for more information.

FYI: QNX4 filesystem consumes the /.inode file to accomodate
hardlinks and filenames more than 16 chars. Sticking to filenames
below 16 chars will gain a bit of space and speed.
