Drivers porting

Hi, there,

QNX 6.2.1 PE cannot recognize my Broadcom NetXtreme BCM570x Gigabit
ethernet NIC on my IBM Intelisation 6219, P4 2.4G x86. The company
offers drivers for windows and linux, but no QNX.

And, QNX seems has no plan to support the NIC now. So, I was wondering
if there are some simple ways to port Linux drivers to QNX. I know that
the resource manager in QNX is totally different from Linux’s device
driver structure. I still hope that there might be some kind of tools
or standard procedures to do it easily.

Best regards

As far as I know there is none. QNX network driver are not really based on

resources manager. They are specific to the io-net architecture.

However if the source are available, for someone familiar with both Linux
and QNX and should be “simple”.
