inetd + phrelay

Hi there, Im having a little problem with inetd and phrelay.

When I restart inetd I can’t connect any more with that node via phindows or
phditto -t …

I turned on the log on phrelay and I see the next piece of text:

PreCache 14043754 for 1024

PreCache 2C22B753 for 786432

Receive Connect

Opening

Running Setup

/usr/photon/bin/Photon -N/dev/ph187 -g -l"/usr/photon/bin/phlogin -O"

Cannot Open //2/dev/ph187

Conection failed (19)

Send Error (19)

Uncompressed

Signal

Send Close (4)

Uncompressed

Waiting for output to drain 10

Waiting for output to drain 1

Exit.

Any help is welcome, thanks in advance,

Christian.-

A couple of questions,

1.) Is Photon running when you try to Phindows in?
2.) How is inetd started and why do you terminate it?
3.) Do you have Dev32.pty running?
4.) Does phindows display any error codes?

I slayed inetd and restarted it, then phindowed in without a problem. On my
system Photon is already running, are you trying to get
the phindows or phditto session to start Photon for you?
