What is this ddk ????

hi

So, the problem is, I want to write a network driver for qnx, and I’ve
read the ddk-network documentation, the example with the null-driver,
but I don’t really understand, finally, how can I compile that null
driver ? And what is this ddk ? I looked in the /usr/src directory, but
it seems to be only an empty directory structure with some makefiles.
What is the “Kit” in it ?
Much more shorter, I have a module.c source and what must I do in order
to build a module.so from it, which I can mount with the “mount
-Tio-net…” command ?

thanks:
Tom

What version and package of QNX Momentics did you purchase?

I don’t know  I downloaded QNX 6.2.1 from the qnx homepage and installed
Momentics from the CD.

The download version (usually called, I think, Non Commercial) has far
less content than the paid-for versions (Standard Edition, Professional
Edition), and I’m pretty sure that one of the main things stripped out
is all the sample code for the various ddks – which would be why you
can’t find any ddk source under /usr/src.
