Wireless LAN (Orinoco) Configuration

Hello,
I am having a Orinoco wireless card on aboard.
I want to configure it.
An Acess Point is configured with SSID “mach” & Channel 6
First devp-pccard is running , then i started the io-net with orinoco
shared object as…

slay io-net

#io-net -dorinoco network =mach,channel=6 -ptcpip
Then if i give static Ip address i am able to self ping. But i am not able
to ping to the LAN.

If i give dhcp, i am not able to get the IP address from the server.

Can anybody tell me whats the problem in configuration.

The card works fine in Linux.
I am testing on QNX 6.2.1B

looking forward for any suggestions

I assume the space between network and = is a typo.

Does the device show up in the output of “pin”? There are some newer
orinoco’s that we don’t support based on a newer cardbus interface.
You should also check the output from sloginfo after you attempt to load
the driver. You might even want to pass ,verbose to it as well.

I wonder if that IRQ is valid. The error in sloginfo was about a Tx timeout
which could indicate an IRQ failure. You could try starting devp-pccard
with the options to change the IRQs.
