where is nettrap

I’m trying to configure my DSL connection under 6.2.1B, and I think I need
to run nettrap, but where is it? It’s not in the default search paths when
I’m logged on as root. Do I need to install it from somewhere?

Thanks,

There isn’t a nettrap anymore with QNX6. If your network card isn’t
detected on boot then the enumerators don’t know about it. Odds are not
great that it will be supported in this case, but if you could post the
output from “pci” that would help figure it out.

It works a little better now, after I installed some of the 6.2.1B patches.

The NIC is detected, I think, because there’s an e0 entry in /dev/io-net and
pci tells me it’s a Realtek RT8139A/B/C Fast Ethernet adapter with VID 10EC
and DID 8139. nicinfo sees it as well.

Now Voyager just sits there with “opening connection http://www.qnx.com” in
the status bar. Eventually I get “Error: Connect Failure. Could not connect
to the requested host. Unable to access http://www.qnx.com

Is there an equivalient command to the Windows (sorry!) ipconfig so I can
see the info assigned by DHCP ?

The sailing ship is cool.

I fixed it. I had to log into my DSL service.

Thanks!
