Does anybody know, how to define PRINTER if I need to print through Windows
print server?
lpr -PPRINTER FILE,
LPD is running on Windows machine, printer si connected to it. Windows
MACHINE’s IP is written in the hosts file.

It would be defined in the /etc/printcap file. There should be a
section in the 6.3 user’s guide that talks about how to configure
this.

Yes. I know. But how can I tell the system, which node is running lpd on?
If I type “lpr -P hp /temp/something”, output is :
“lpr: connect: Connection refused. Jobs queued, bud cannot start daemon.”
When I launch lpd & on the local machine and repeat printing, there’s no
output, but nothing is printed. Job stay in the queue.
my printcap file:
hp:
:rm=Servis:rp=HP_DJ_9300:
IP address of “Servis” is defined in hosts file. Printer HP_DJ_9300 is
installed on Win server, lpr printing from Windows or Linux computers is OK.
Tested in both QNX4, QNX6.
