Useful Printers - qnx.hardware

Hi all:

A customer is searching for a printer to recommend to their customers.
Therefore this survey question.

Can you reply with the makes and models of printers that you have found to
work seamlessly with QNX6.2.1. I am looking for printers that with parallel
or usb.

Just to start things off:

HP Deskjet 3820 : 6.2.1. Works with parallel and usb.
Automatically detected by spooler (usb or parallel). Prints both color and
B/W.

PS. Since there are changes being made to the newsgroups. I vote for a
“qnx.hardware” group. I see it could be valuable as a container for usable
and un-usable hardware lists and for solutions that relate to individual
makes and models. A supported list is fine but there appear to be models
that just dont work. Network cards contain different chipsets, so they
wouldn’t get included (unless a board version change makes a board
unusable). Generic hardware such as printers or mice should just work.

Is there a need for this?

Andy

Hardware newsgroup should be interesting.

I’m in favor of the newsgroups being as specific as possible.

Surely some people out there have printers working with QNX6.
Come on, step forward to the plate.

Andy.
