java applets

Hi,
I’d like to know if it’s possible to execute Java applets in a PtWebClient
(6.3)?

Is there any limitations?

Hello Alain

I haven’t done this personally, but if you setup a helper app using the
Pt_ARG_WEB_HELPER resource that is similar to voyagers j9plugin helper
app, you should be able to execute java applets in the PtWebClient.

What sort of limitations are you looking for? These are broad
limitations, but you can’t use jdk1.4 or swing. Any thing specifc that
you were wondering about?

Hi Rodney,
I haven’t any precise informations today.
The project is to make a GUI to control a machine. On that machine can be
installed some quality processes we buy and what I know is that GUI to
control these process are shipped as Java applets.
I should have more precise informations in the next days I could give you.
