trying to update the eclipse SDK of Momentics via the eclipse updatesite
failed saying it would invalidate the configuration (requiered
org.eclipse.platform 2.0.2).
Is it somehow possible to upgrade to eclipse 2.1.2 anyway?

I belive that 6.2.1B uses 2.1.2.

I belive that 6.2.1B uses 2.1.2.
nope, 6.2.1B uses 2.0.2 (before it was 2.0.0)
strangely enough under Windows I can simply copy the com.qnx.* plugins
and features into the eclipse 2.1.2 directory and it works without
complaining…
anyway, these days we should get the 6.3beta. So far a clean eclipse
2.1.2 should do it’s work.
Question: does QNX provide extension points to their plugins in future?
Especially the system builder leaves some wishes open.

Some things have extension points, but I don’t belive we have documented
any of our internal ones (yet).
As the developer that owns System Builder, I would love to hear your feedback
on what wishes you have for it. Please drop me an email if you have a free
moment or two.
