Hi,
Does QNX support debugging over USB? Our target has USB but no Ethernet.
best regards,
Arun.

If working from Windows, you could use a USB <-> serial cable, then
use that serial port for serial debugging.
QNX does not have a USB class driver for serial devices of that type.
I don’t know if Linux would, or not – but if you found a USB <-> Serial
with a Linux driver that presented it as a serial port, that would work
for serial debugging there, too.
Hm…this does assume the target has just an ordinary serial port.
I don’t know of any two-ended USB to USB debugging method.
Please follow-up to newsgroup, rather than personal email.

I’ve seen comments that JTAG is an option. All single chip solutions
have this port so a driver could possibly be slapped together for his
hardware on special order.
What about using a USB Ethernet device? We support the KLSI and Pegasus
chipsets for QNX6.2.x and higher.
