Hi, we have a touchscreen monitor (datalux) that we need to replace it’s
plugged on a QNX system (don’t know which version but it’s old), so I
bought a new one (from Datalux, Microtouch controller) and they told me
that it supposed to work without any problems, but it’s not the case…
I know Unix (a little bit) but I don’t know QNX. Is it possible to get a
new driver for touchscreen monitor and if yes, how can I install
it/configure?

I’m looking for an answer because Datalux doesn’t seem to be ready to
pay back my monitor…

There is a microtouch driver “devi-microtouch” already in rtp6.21 and 6.3,
but it does not seem to support the latest Microtouch NFI touch screens. I
have had no luck at all when asking for information on touch screen drivers
on this or the DDK news group.

Clearly, more coding needs done. How fast that gets done will prolly
depend on money changing hands. And that is a “talk to your rep” answer.
I don’t know why the driver is not open source already, maybe QSS used
an old Microtouch supplied library for the protocol.
