Hi,
We are using an old HP620C color inkjet printer in a QNX 4.25 & Photon
1.14 installation.
Recently this printer has death, so we need to buy a new one.
Time ago we have tested some “new” printers. HP 720 doesn’t work, but HP
8xx woks fine.
Currently these new printers are not avalable anymore (currentle they
are old models).
Has anybody experience using current HP printer models in the same
environment?

Hi,
the HP 7xx printers are lobotomized Windoze-only printers, but the HP
9xx printers work just fine.
(Generally, when you buy el-cheapo hardware, you only get what you pay
for

I have printed to hp4000 series and hp4200 series successfully via the LPT
port.
