I am trying to get the network working on a board with a
National Semiconductor 83815. I’ve got a copy of Net.ns83815
dated Feb 5 2001 which I’m running with Net dated Sep 27 1999
(both from QNX4.25E, but I’m getting a register dump when
I run Net.ns83815 preceeded by:

net_init: qnx_hint_attach, Drvr_IrqHdlr.
Send(): Register with Net Manager failed

I’m wondering if there is an updated version of this driver
that might be more robust. I know there are some later
releases of the OS, but we’ve been downloading patches
for years, and never managed to get the necessary installer
for installing the more recent releases.

I got the driver to run without crashing by feeding it the
approprait -p and -i params from show_pci.

There is an updated version with QNX 4.25G.
