prsetup problem

I would like to get a few screenshots from an embedded system.
Unfortunately it seems one can get screenshots using phditto?
This is a great pity.

So I’m trying to get snapshot to work on the embedded system.
I’ve copied the printers.sample file to /usr/photon/print/printers

I don’t want to print physically, just capture to file.
So most of the steps outlined in the help about setting
up printing, is not applicable (I think).

However, I’ve tried also copying a lpsrvr file over
to /etc/config (from a PC where printing & screen cpature
is working). There is a /dev/par1. lprsrvr is running.
There are entries under /dev/spool.
phfontpfr is running.

However, when I run prsetup, it complains and says no
printers are installed. I can’t see why?

What files & directories does prsetup also need
apart from the printers file?

I’ve setup the files as root.
I then try to run prsetup either as root or an
ordinary user.
No luck-when snapshot is run there are no printers to select
and pressing install complains and says no printers
(There are no printers installed.
the printers.sample file must be customized for your system).

The printers file is identical to the printers.sample file.

On the development machine it works fine, on the
embedded one not.

Using Phindows and use Windows screen capture capability

Of course!
I forgot about that route.
I was doing QNX to QNX, but viewing it on
a Windows system is also workable.

BTW I also found snapshot -s works well…
Uses the local printer defs & stores to a local file,
but runs on the remote node.
